SAM BLAKESLEE & WISTFUL THINKING
OUT NOW ON OUTSIDE IN MUSIC!
Sam Blakeslee's genre-spanning project, Busy Body from Wistful Thinking features Chris Coles (alto saxophone), Brandon Coleman (guitar), and Matt Wiles (bass), as well as master percussionist Jamey Haddad, woodwind/composer phenom Brian Krock, and Grammy-nominated drummer/composer Dan Pugach. The album features and immersive journey through fusion, electronica, and was recorded remotely in the summer and fall of 2020.
The title track and single, Busy Body was released on all streaming platforms on September 23rd, with the full album being released on October 28th. CD release October and November tour dates in the East Coast and Midwest can be found under my Events Page.

In July 2021, Sam Blakeslee & Wistful Thinking also released The Long Middle on Outside In Music, which is an introspective journey of pastoral melodies and compositions in an intimate chamber-jazz setting.
